Affiliate Program Terms

Welcome to the WhatSetter Affiliate Program. These terms and conditions ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the WhatSetter affiliate program operated by WHATSETTER LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By joining our affiliate program, you agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms. Please read them carefully before applying.
1. Program Overview
The WhatSetter Affiliate Program is powered by Tolt. To join, create your affiliate account at partners.whatsetter.com. Once approved, you'll receive a unique affiliate link to share. When someone signs up using your link and becomes a paying customer, you earn a percentage of their subscription payments.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to participate
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- We reserve the right to accept or reject any affiliate application at our sole discretion
3. Commission Structure
Commission Rate:
20% of the referred customer's subscription payment
Duration:
Commissions are paid for 12 months from the referral's first payment
Recurring:
You earn commissions on each payment made by your referral during this period
No Cap:
There is no limit to how much you can earn
4. Prohibited Practices
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination from the affiliate program and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions:
Self-Affiliation:
Using your own affiliate link to sign up for WhatSetter services or referring yourself, family members, or entities you control. If our system detects self-affiliation, the affiliate commission will not be paid.
Paid Advertising on Brand Keywords:
Bidding on "WhatSetter", "Whatsetter", or any variations/misspellings in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or any other pay-per-click advertising platform. This includes brand + modifier keywords (e.g., "WhatSetter pricing", "WhatSetter alternative").
Spam and Unsolicited Communications:
Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or any form of spam to promote your affiliate link.
False or Misleading Claims:
Making false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about WhatSetter products or services.
Trademark Infringement:
Using WhatSetter's name, logo, or trademarks in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation beyond your role as an affiliate.
Cookie Stuffing:
Any technique that places affiliate cookies on users' devices without their knowledge or consent.
Incentivized Clicks/Signups:
Offering cash, credits, or rewards to users for clicking your affiliate link or signing up through it.
5. Payment Terms
Payment Schedule:
Payouts are generated Net 15: 15 days after the end of each month for the previous month
Minimum Payout:
A minimum balance of $100 in commissions is required for payout
Payment Methods:
Payments are made via PayPal, Wise, Wire (SWIFT), or Local Bank Transfer (IBAN). You can configure your preferred method directly in your affiliate profile at partners.whatsetter.com
Refunds:
If a referred customer requests a refund, the corresponding commission will be deducted from your balance
Chargebacks:
Chargebacks from referred customers will result in commission reversal
6. Cookie Duration
- Our affiliate tracking cookie has a duration of 60 days
- If a user clicks your affiliate link but signs up within 60 days, you will receive credit for the referral
- Last-click attribution is used: if a user clicks multiple affiliate links, the last affiliate before signup receives credit
7. Termination
- Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with 30 days written notice
- We may terminate your participation immediately if you violate these terms
- Upon termination, all unpaid commissions that have been legitimately earned will be paid out, subject to our standard payment terms
- Commissions earned through prohibited practices will be forfeited
8. Modifications
- We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time
- Affiliates will be notified of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect
- Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms
9. Limitation of Liability
WhatSetter's total liability under these terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the affiliate program.
10. Governing Law
These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
